Service oriented architecture is used in software development as a basis for design in the structure of inoperable services. The platform of the services is based on the well-defined functions that can be used again for diverse purposes. Web-based applications are usually based on SOA. It has a way to provide the end user to know the main interface in order to give proper functions to the consumers. It also integrates multiple implementation platforms where different web-based applications can be used. SOA divides the different functions into different components and services which make it accessible for the developers to allow users to reuse them in creating the applications.

The implementation of service oriented software is based on single function that are combined together to create an integrated platform. Each unit has a particular function like creating an online or joining a forum. In developing software that is based on orchestration, it connects all functions in a non – chain type of command setting that shows all the functions which the end-users can utilize in order to see the characteristics and services to create another application. Orchestration requires metadata to illustrate the overall characteristic of each service.

Service oriented architecture permits the users to collect all the main functions in order to create ad hoc where an application is created entirely by another software. The large amounts of functions that is included in the interface does not really work well for future reuse. The main design relies on the fundamental design structure which is needed to create a interface based on the major concerns of the users.
